All Day I Dream: Governors Island

Beautiful music, expressive costumes, and like minded souls are the first things that come to mind when attempting to describe this magical mind opening experience. What started as a Sunday Brooklyn rooftop party in 2011 has evolved into a global techno and house presence, from Burning Man to Governor’s Island. ADID has since become an international sensation, spurred on by Lee Burridge and his partner Matthew Dekay’s signature technicolor emotionalism, the sort that’s all too rare in the current electronic music scene.

It explores beautiful, emotional and melancholic shades of House and Techno through its label’s releases, events and artists. Spreading from New York across America to Los Angeles, the parties expanded and flourished as a result of Lee’s major presence at Burning Man and Matthew’s creative ingenuity.

Giving the party-goer or “Dreamer” more than just DJ sets, All Day I Dream works to create a special ambiance and the combination of the music and unique venues decorated with draping fabric, fairy lights and lanterns form an unparalleled and magical atmosphere.
